Travelers are humbly requested to first go through the terms and conditions of Zeal Nepal Trek in order to understand the policies and proceedings.
1. The Contract
- All bookings are made with Zeal Nepal Trek, a fully licensed company under registration Number ……………….. whose registered office is at Kathmandu, Nepal. The Head of The Company is ………………… You must agree to all the terms and conditions of Zeal Nepal Trek before booking a trip via Zeal Nepal Trek.
- Here the word ‘trip’ used in this website tends to refer all the itineraries or activities that you purchase with us including trekking, tours, expeditions, and other adventure and tour programs. ‘The company’ refers to Zeal Nepal Trek.
2. Payment Medium
- The 20% booking amount, required to book a trip is non-refundable. The booking transaction can be operated by bank transfer or by Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard).
- The final payment can be completed after your arrival in Kathmandu. The company needs to receive the final payment before 2 days of departure day otherwise, cancellation conditions will be applicable as per the cancellation clause. The full trip payment will be followed by the final trip documentation handover.
- If payment is made by credit card, a charge of 3.5% will be added to the amount which is imposed by the credit card payment service provider.
3. Booking Trip
- A booking becomes valid only from the date mentioned in the confirmation invoice or email. The contract will function from this date onwards.
4. Non-refund clause
- Booking amounts are non-refundable.
- If the trip guide finds the client committing any offensive or immoral acts, then the guide has full authority to banish you from the trip. There will be no refund in such conditions.
- No-refunds for last-minute trip cancellation or incomplete trip.
5. Refund clause
- If Zeal Nepal Trek cancels a trip after reservation which is guaranteed to run then, a refund will be made. In addition, you will be entitled to an alternative trip of the same value without extra charge.
- Due to any circumstances, if you voluntarily decide to leave a trip after the trip has begun then, no refunds will be made. But, refunds will be at the discretion of Zeal Nepal Trek if you are involuntarily forced to leave a trip for any reason.
6. Trip Cancellation
- Due to any circumstances, if you are compelled to cancel your reserved trip, the company will claim the cancellation fee as per the following terms and conditions:
- 20% cancellation fee applied if you did not notify within a month before departure.
- 50% cancellation fee applied if you did not notify within two weeks of booking.
- No refunds for last-minute cancellations or no show-up situation.
- Zeal Nepal Trek holds the right to cancel any booked trip before it is guaranteed to run. A trip guarantee validation is provided once the traveling group has two fully paid travelers.
7. Last-minute booking
We accept last-minute booking but full payment has to be done prior to a week of the departure day. Last-minute booking can cause an alteration in the price.
8. Travel Insurance
The clients are highly recommended to obtain comprehensive travel insurance. The insurance must secure all the medical expenses, trip cancellations, personal accidents, loss of passport, loss of gears, loss of baggage, emergency evacuations, any natural catastrophe.
9. Trip cost and extra charges
To make accommodation reasonable, our trip packages are based on double occupancy. If the client uses a single room then, the client is liable for a single supplement. We reserve the right to revise pricing rates under circumstances that are out of our control such as changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc.
10. Promotional Approach
Zeal Nepal Trek can take pictures, snaps or images of your trip without your knowledge and can use them for promotion and advertising purposes through different media by the company.
11. Unpredictable changes
You have to be ready for unpredictable changes that may occur in the itinerary such as trek duration, transportation modes, and accommodation after the trip has begun. Other changes due to local circumstances may be flight delays, trip cancellation or postponement, road blockade, government restrictions, and political strike.
12. Passport
You must have a valid passport with 6 months validation and the appropriate visas when traveling with Zeal Nepal Trek. Please ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas for the countries you are traveling to. Zeal Nepal Trek will not be responsible if your visa or passport is condemned due to any lacking.
13. Warning
- Our terms and conditions are applicable only if you book your trip with us directly. We don’t have a middle-man so if you happen to book your trip via an agent or third party, you shall be liable to their terms and conditions. We will not be accountable for such bookings.
- The agreement made with the company shall be subject to and governed by, Nepalese law. You have read and agreed to the booking terms & conditions of Zeal Nepal Trek and abide by them. You understand and agree to the participation with Zeal Nepal Trek on your chosen trip.
